Darline passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 20, 2016 after a short battle with cancer.

She was born February 9, 1929 in Salt Lake City to Leonard R. and Eva M. Wycherly. She attended South High School and worked many years as a waitress and a banquet server.

She loved her family and friends, taking trips, reading , cooking, camping, handwork, and shopping. She was always ready for the next trip, outing, or family gathering.

She was a past auxiliary president and an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for thirty-eight years. Darline and her three sisters were the only sibling quartet that were members of the Sweet Adelines Barber Shop Chorus.

A tender, caring, classy lady, Darline will be missed by all.

Proud of her five generations, Darline is survived by her daughters: Jody Taylor, Rhonda (Craig) Painter and Cherrie (Brian) Roberts; eight grandkids, eighteen great-grandkids, two great-great-grandkids, sisters, Betty (Keith) Crandall and Anna Mae Smith; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, John B. Taylor; son, David Ray Fitzgerald; and sister, Norma Evans.

Her family would like to thank Envision Home Health and Hospice for the great care provided. We would like to extend our heartfelt love and gratitude to her hospice nurse for the special and tender care she received.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), with a viewing prior from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East College Street (4580 South).
