Died of measles, at Knowlton, March 19, 1889, Arthur Garfield Ruby, aged 8 yrs., 2 mo., 8 da. Arthur was the son of A. S. & H. B. Ruby. He was to his parents, a precious child. Never strong physically, his frail condition naturally enlarged the sympathies, and increased the solicitude of the parents. His friends have great consolation, knowing that while this tender plant was ill adapted to life in this rough world, he was unusually interested in, and prepared for the world beyond. Arthur was a very conscientious child as to truthfulness. He was quite interested in talking of God, and the heavenly world, inquiring and talking with his mother of the heavenly state and wishing to know if he should die, whether he would go to that good world. May parents and children meet in heaven.
