Graveside services for Arlene Johnson of Kissee Mills will be Saturday, July 23 at 11:00 A.M. in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson with Rev. Jim Brooks officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.

Arlene was born on March 31, 1924 in Walnut Shade, Missouri. She was the daughter of Norman “Red” Blansit and Pansy (Nash) Blansit. She was a lifelong resident of this area. Arlene attended Hollister High School. In March of 1947 she married William Neil Johnson in Harrison, AR.

Arlene was a beautician and had worked in Forsyth at Marie’s Beauty Salon and the Ozark Beach Nursing Home. She had also worked for Paul’s Cafe in Forsyth.

Arlene entered into rest on July 21, 2016 at Ozark Riverview Manor in Ozark at the age of 92.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Johnson; three sisters, Earnestine Murray, Imogene McCorkle and Bessie Biggs and three brothers, Earl Dean Blansit, Bobby Blansit and C.C. Blansit.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Reed and husband Harold of Albany, IN and Jim Wade and wife Mary Alice of Highlandville; three sisters, Joan Womack of Oklahoma City, OK, Betty Schouten of Denver, CO and Phylis Mischke of Steelville, MO; four grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; special nephew, Mark Johnson and a host of other nieces and nephews.
