Mrs. Louis Bardon - The death took place at Kitchener on Thursday evening of Theckla Alexandra Rockel, widow of the late Louis Bardon, which occurred at her home in Kitchener following a week's illness, aged 53 years. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon to St. Peter's Lutheran church for service and Mount Hope cemetery for interment.
The late Mrs. Bardon was born in Waterloo and in 1900 married Louis Bardon, who died in May, 1917. Six children survive, namely, Lily (Mrs. Harry Lewis), Fred, Catharine (Mrs. William Rueffer), Emily, Eleanor and Louise, all of Kitchener. Also three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Henry Brasseler of Toronto, Mrs. George Grosz, Miss Linda Rockel, Carl, Henry and Adolph Rockel, all of Waterloo.
