Bruce Burton Robertson, 72, passed away on July 4, 2016.

He was born on April 25, 1944 in Brigham City, Utah the son of Bert George and Pearl Jensen Robertson. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1962, attended Weber State College, and graduated from University of Utah Pharmacy School in 1967.

He married Cindy Groves on August 28, 1969.

Bruce worked at St. Benedict’s Hospital from 1967 to 1973. He then worked for Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical Company in 1973, and he and Cindy moved to Fresno, CA. Bruce loved working as a pharmaceutical representative, and this suited his outgoing and gregarious personality. He was always ready with a smile and a joke.

He moved back to Utah and began working as a pharmacist for Harmon’s Drug Store in 2002, where he continued to work until he retired in 2008. He loved working with customers, and also the employees, whom he considered part of his family.

Bruce had a great sense of humor, which he got from his mother, Pearl.

Bruce enjoyed building and always had a project whether it was, adding a room, knocking out a window, enclosing a breezeway or working on cars.

Bruce leaves a son, Brandon Robertson and Jessica Robertson of Madison, WI; and grandsons, Brixton and Maxwell Robertson; a daughter, Bailey Robertson, Fresno, CA; and granddaughter, Ellie Robertson; sister, MarVanne and Don Hadfield, Ogden, UT; and three nephews, Bart, Blake, and Kent; and one niece, Kimberly. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Bert and Pearl Robertson.

Bruce loved his children and was a terrific dad. He is now at peace and has joined his family members in what is a happy reunion.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
