DAY, Geraldine Emory "Geri" 83, of Lutz, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016. Geri was born in Tampa, and was a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area. She was a toll operator and worked in home healthcare. Geri loved the Lord and her family. She was a member of Heritage Church in Lutz. Geri enjoyed crafting, travel, and cooking. She is preceded in death by two sons, John Randall Dykes and Gregory Dykes. Geri is survived by three daughters, Debra Hills, Sandra Gorsuch, and Cindy Snyders; brother, Tim Emory; two sisters, Joan Tippey and Linda Payne; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service will take place at 2 pm, Sunday, at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1-3 pm, Friday, at Loyless Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service. Geri's final resting place will be at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Monday, July 24. Donations may be made to Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in honor of Huntley Martin, Operation Toy Hunt.
