Morris Leon Brandon, 86, of Wakefield, MS, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Mr. Brandon was retired from Trunkline Gas Co. after 38 years and was a Deacon and member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mr. Brandon was preceded in death by two brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Leola Brandon, two daughters, Debbie Woody and Marla Treadway (Terry), one step-son, Austin Gross (Elaine) and one step-daughter, Joyce Chrestman (Raiford), four sisters, one brother, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren. The family will received friends Friday, July 22, 2016 from 12:30pm until the service begins at 2pm, all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery (1290 New Hope Rd, Coldwater, MS).
