Harvey Earl Brandon, 81, of Senatobia, died Monday, April 26 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven. Mr. Brandon was a retired farmer, a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Coldwater, and an Army veteran of World War II. Services were Wednesday, April 28 at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia with interment in New Garden Cemetery in Independence, Pallbearers were Phillip Meredith, Eric Brandon, Travis Young, Gregg Young, Michael Taylor, and Timothy Brandon. Cliff Butler officiated.
He was preceeded in death by his wife, Beatrice Hendrix Brandon; and a daughter, Mary Alma Brandon. He is survived by a daughter, Imogene Lynn Brandon of Memphis; his mother, Alma Brandon Yancey of Senatobia; four sisters, Ethelene Strange and Betty Young, both of Coldwater, Avis Marr of Senatobia, and Carolyn Riley of Memphis; and two brothers, Morris L. Brandon of Coldwater and Carl Brandon of Holly Springs.
