SERVICES- 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 21, 2006 in Robertson Funeral Directors Chapel Of Memories in Clarendon with Rev. Jim Aveni, Vicar of the St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Clarendon, officiating.

Interment with Air Force Honors in Citizens Cemetery.

Norman Lee Stewart of Amarillo, formerly of Clarendon, died Sunday, November 19, 2006 in Amarillo.

Mr. Stewart was born April 1, 1933 in Unionville, Missouri to John Ray and Audrey Pearl Haines Stewart. He married Maggie Lula Morrow on November 18, 1968 in Amarillo. He served for 21 years in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1972. He moved to Clarendon in 1977 and was self employed as a carpenter. He had been a resident of Amarillo this past year. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarendon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife on February 22, 2004.

Survivors include one daughter, Cassandra Lewis and husband Michael of Amarillo; one son, Jonathan Stewart and wife Crystal of Swink, Colorado; 3 sisters, Hazel Stewart, Mary Stewart, and Rose Karns; 4 grandchildren, Roger Coby Braddock, Quinton Sean Stewart, Desirae Row, and Madison Nichole Stewart; and one great grandson, Kyson Braddock.
