Marjorie was born December 13, 1932 in Albia, Iowa the daughter of John H. and Cornelia A. Nicholson Dack. She graduated from Gilman High School.
She was united in marriage to Robert Snow on May 30, 1953 at the Attica Methodist Church at Attica, Iowa. They have resided in the Packwood area and presently Fairfield for 50 years.
Marjorie was a homemaker and a retired insurance agent with Gentry Insurance.
She was a member of the Packwood Christian Church. She enjoyed sending birthday cards to church members and volunteering her time to serve the church. She was an avid sports fan cheering on her Hawkeyes. She also followed her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren to various activities. Marge loved to be in her kitchen and admired her flowers as she sat on her patio. She never passed up a good western. Marge was a strong woman of faith believing no matter the situation. She would say "It's in God's hands".
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers Ronald and Donald Dack.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, 5 children: Karen ( Terry) Allison of Fairfield Kyle ( Kristi) Snow of Houston, Texas, Krystal Snow of Packwood, Kortney ( Richard) Heald of Packwood and Kathleen Snow of Fairfield; 16 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren 1 brother: Jack Dack and wife Twilla of Marshalltown, and a sister Beverly Williams of Knoxville, Iowa. Also surviving are her beloved in-laws, family and friends.
As per her wishes there will be a graveside service at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 19th at the Packwood Cemetery with Pastor Frosty Van Voorst officiating.
Following will be a luncheon at Van Voorst Hall at the Packwood Christian Church for all family and friends to share stories and memories.
