Lee Allen Terry

December 31, 1933 ~ July 13, 2016
Resided in Plain City, UT

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away on July 13, 2016 and is now with God. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 57 years, Fran; daughter, Lisa Terry (Denny Beroiz) of Flintridge, California, daughter, Lora Ellis (Bruce), of Plain City, Utah; four grandchildren (Joshua, Erica, Alexandra, and Andrea Ellis); and brother, Jack Terry (Carol).

He was born on December 31, 1933 in Los Angeles and lived in Southern California most of his life. Lee served in the United States Air Force for four years and after discharge returned to work at Northrop Aircraft where he worked for the next 37 years.

Lee loved to watch and play sports, mainly baseball. He had many, many hobbies over the years. He enjoyed camping with friends, riding motorcycles, and telling stories around the campfire. He was always busy in his workshop – woodworking and building and flying (crashing) radio controlled airplanes. He had every tool there was and could fix anything from a plumbing leak to rebuilding an engine on one of his cars. His '67 Mustang was his pride and joy.

Nineteen years ago, Lee and Fran relocated to Utah to join their daughter and family.

In later years, Lee suffered from dementia and lived the past four years in the George E. Wahlen Veterans Memory Care Unit. We want to thank everyone there and the staff from Bristol Hospice (Carla, Leesa, and Alex) for their caring natures, sincere compassion, true respect, and love for Lee. You all made these hard times a little easier.

Graveside services will be on Monday, July 25, 2016, at 11 am at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd, Ogden. A viewing will be held Sunday, July 24 2016, from 6 to 8 pm at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden.

Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
