   Willie Fred Matthews, 78, of Bulls Gap, Tn. went to be with the Lord Friday, July 15, 2016, at his home. He was a member of Bulls Gap Baptist Church. Fred was a retired employee of Gateway Ford and a former employee of Berkline Corporation.
   Fred is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Campbell Matthews, and parents Herbert and Ruth Matthews.
   He is survived by children Vicki (Don) Eaton of Bean Station, and Terry (Sherry) Matthews of Bulls Gap; grandsons Trevor Matthews and Nicholas Roberts; sister Libby Blizzard of Morristown; brother Frank Matthews of Lowland; sisters and brothers-in-law Charles (Betty) Campbell, James (Fran) Campbell, Joyce (Guy) Barnett, Mary Ruth (Larry) Galloway; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
   The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday, July 17, in the east chapel of Allen Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 8 pm, with Rev. Ronald Matthews officiating. Graveside services will be 11 am Monday, July 18, in Hamblen Memory Gardens, with Rev. Rex Russell officiating.
   Allen Funeral Home of Morristown is in charge of arrangements.
