      I love genealogy!

"Genealogy begins as an interest, becomes a hobby, continues as an avocation, and, in the last stages, is an incurable disease."

I will be happy to transfer management of a memorial to any family member of the deceased, as long as the memorial is for a person not in my direct line.

The F/G Guidelines for transferring memorials are just that -- guidelines. They are not rules for F/G membership, and they are certainly not laws that must be obeyed.

"Are gravestones ever wrong? Could they contain misinformation?" If you think the answer is NO, check out the memorial for Katherine James Foster, who lived to be 100 years old. Does her gravestone reflect that ripe old age?
