SELBY, Florence Age 104 of Middletown, died June 29, 2016. Florence was born November 24, 1911 in Menifee County, Kentucky, the daughter of Mitchell and Peachie (Campbell) Kidd. Florence was a loving mother of two, and a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church for most of her life. She married Donald E. Selby, the love of her life, November 18, 1939 in Newport, Kentucky. She worked as a hairdresser for 50 years, and operated the Powder Puff Beauty Salon along with her loving sister, Norma Holt. Family members include a daughter, Linda (nee Selby) and husband, Tom Leonard of California; son, Bob (wife, Shirley nee Clemons) Selby of Middletown; four grandchildren, Chad Selby, Corey Selby, Kristi Skrabo and Stefanie Clark; six great grandchildren; and special nephew, David Selby; She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; grandson, Chad Selby; six sisters and three brothers. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 am Tuesday at the church, with Pastor Michelle Terry officiating. Interment will be at the Woodside Cemetery.
