Born November 27, 1925 in Los Angeles, Al was a resident of Arcadia for over 50 years. He was an USC graduate and a Veteran of the United States Army, having fought during the Battle of the Bulge during WW II. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal (BSM) which is awarded to members of the United States armed forces for either heroic achievement, heroic service, meritorious achievement, or meritorious service in a combat zone.
Al worked as a medical detailer for Squibb and Pittman-Moore early in his career and was a sales representative for the National Vitamin Company until his retirement at age 79.
During his early life he spent time in the Sierras, hiking up to Mt. Whitney and other various trails, and fishing, which he loved.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jean; daughter, Susan Wilson; son, David Albright, and daughter-in-law Lynda Ott-Albright, 7 grandchildren: Michelle, Courtney, Joshua, Robin, Rachel, Jillian & Sheridan, and 3 great-grandchildren: Matthew, Aaliyah & Shelby.
He was predeceased in death by his daughter Karen Piscitelli Wilson.
