Judith Gayle Cobb Jackson was born on September 25th, 1939 in Briggs, OK, the daughter of David Burton and Geneva Cordell (Brown) Cobb. Their home was blessed with two brothers and three sisters, Leonard, Junior, Dorothy, Sue, and Betty along with half-sisters, Irene & Pauline and half-brother, Buddy.

She attended school until 6th grade, it was then her mother said it was time for Judith to get a job and help to support her family, with all the family working to make ends meet.

She would meet and marry the love of her life and her best friend, Donald Audry Jackson, June 18th, 1955 in Tahlequah, OK. This union was blessed with a lot of laughter, love and one son and one daughter, Gary and Pamela.

She worked as a dental assistant for many years. She loved the clients and enjoyed her many years in the public.

When she had time at home, Judith loved to cook and bake for her family. She made the best brownies, peanut/pecan brittle, biscuits and gravy and goulash you ever had.

She loved a morning of bowling in leagues in Tulsa, and devoted time every year to help raise money for cancer awareness and treatment.

She was blessed with a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes, no matter how corny. She loved when Don announced it was time to head to Skiatook lake for a little fishing and boating.

Evenings found her crocheting. She was the biggest supporter of her grandchildren and all their activities. She was so very proud of all they did and accomplished.

She lost her beloved Don on January 8th, 2012. Her health began a decline and she went to stay in San Angelo with her son and his family following the passing of her husband.

A Christian by faith, the Lord called this witty and wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother home from her labors on Monday, July 11th, 2016 in San Angelo, TX with her loved ones by her side. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She has gone on to be with her mother and father, her husband Don, her daughter, Pamela, her brothers, Junior, Leonard and Buddy, and her sisters, Dorothy, Betty, Sue, Irene and Pauline.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Gary Jackson and wife Bobbie of San Angelo, TX. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren, Michael and Samantha Jackson, Deanna and Martin Moreno, Christopher and Marie Jackson, Richard and Rachel Doolin, and Jennifer Doolin.

She also leaves great grandchildren, Kyle, Waylan, Sebastian, and Eliana Jackson, Joaquin, Julian, and Jemma Moreno, Nathanael Jackson, Brianna, Derek, and Aubrey Doolin, Zoey Shakir, Jordan Wilks, Jesus and Adam Rodriguez, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
