Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Ehrhardt Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Carter’s Ford Baptist Church cemetery.
Born June 25, 1949, in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late Edward Henry Varnadoe and Julia Smoak Varnadoe. She was a seamstress at Smoaks Manufacturing. She loved shopping, but most of all loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Rudolph Myers of High Point, North Carolina, and Susan Wright of Bamberg; grandchildren Ashley Lyons, Nikki Myers, Rudy Myers Jr., Kaitlyn Myers, Kevin Wright and Kylie Wright; great-grandchildren LJ Lyons and Colin Lyons; brothers Joe Varnadoe and Thomas Varnadoe, both of Lodge, and Richard Varnadoe of Ehrhardt; sisters Dorothy Ayer of Ehrhardt and Alice Kinard of Lodge; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Edward Varnadoe and John Varnadoe; and a sister, Ann Fender.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 at Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes, Walterboro Chapel, 1193 Bells Highway, Walterboro
