She is survived by her husband Preston Reid; two daughters, Pam Wood Tyler (Brian), Barbie Wood Arnold (Stephen); two step-children, Linda (Eddie) Lee and Stephen Reid; five grandchildren, Amy Brekle, Butch Brekle (Heather), Anna Brekle, Robin Parks Ennis (John) and David Parks; six great-grandchildren, Justin Hogan, Andrew Lackey, Austin Thornton, Isabella Brekle, Archer Ennis, Andrew Ennis and Alden Ennis; a host of nieces and nephews and her dear friend Mary Ellen Roseberry, all who loved her dearly.
Joyce loved her family, her church and the joys of life.
She was fun-loving, feisty and fashionable.
Joyce was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and the owner of VASCO Auto Parts.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church, 9417 Thermal Rd, Warrior, AL 35180.
The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with burial in Bethel Cemetery.
