Early Life: Mary was born October 19, 1943, in Murray, Utah, to Everett James and Cora Madge Goff Dahl, their fifth child. She had two brothers and three sisters. From a young age, she had a deep love of animals and nature growing up in Kamas, Utah, graduating from South Summit High School in 1961.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: She was married to Leonard Lilienthal for nine years; they had four children and eventually, seven grandchildren. She later was married to Gerald Kanouff for 13 years. Mary was a gifted seamstress and made most of her clothing for most of her life! She also enjoyed making her children's clothing. She was also quite a talented artist and enjoyed drawing with pastels. Mary Dahl Lilienthal returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 10, 2016. This day, she was finally free of a lifetime of pain and ailments. She was 72.
Survived By: Her son, Jason; daughter, Jennifer (Travis); son, Joshua (Amy); and daughter, Joy (Brent); seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; sister, Wendy (Bob); and brother, Edwin.
Preceded In Death By: Her parents; brother and sister-in-law, James and Della Dahl; sister, Judy Dahl; and sister, Janice Evans.
