Charles F. Lambert "Chuck" peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on July 8, 2016, in St. Petersburg, Fla. Charles was born Aug. 22, 1933, in Kansas City, Kan., to the late Jesse and Kathryn Lambert. He was proceeded in death by his wife of 44 years, Joanne Enderle Lambert. They were both predeceased by their daughter, Kimberly G. Lambert. Charles was survived by his children, Charles F. Lambert, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth who reside in Savannah, Texas, and Michael J. Lambert and his wife Judy who reside in New Port Richey, Fla. Charles is also survived by his loving sister and brother, Barbara Pfeiffer and Ronald Lambert and his wife Cheri, all of Shawnee, Kan. Chuck was a proud Grandad to Jennifer Jones, Brett Lambert, Joanne Lambert, Christopher Lambert and Lauren Lambert as well as six great grandchildren. Chuck was a retiree of AT&T of Kansas City after 28 years of service. He had a lifetime love of sports and loved his time spent at Lake of the Ozarks sharing good times with his family and friends. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Our Lady of Peace Chapel in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 8321 Quivira Rd, Lenexa, Kan. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to: Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.--Published in Kansas City Star on July 17, 2016
