CARLISLE. - Mrs. Anna L. Mumper, 66, widow of Ross A. Mumper, 43 S. East St., here, died Saturday at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey. She had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Robert J. Nolf in Eatontown, N.J., when she was stricken ill.
A lifelong resident of Carlisle, Mrs. Mumper was employed for many years by C.H. Masland and Sons, retiring last July. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose, Carlisle.
Survivors include three sons, Richard R. and Marlin L., both of Carlisle, and Robert Lee, Honolulu, Hawaii; her daughter, Verna E. ; two brothers, John A. Boyer, Maroa, Ill., and Gilton S. Boyer, Carlisle RD 1; eight grand-children and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle. The Rev. Dr. H.A. Houseal, pastor of First Evangelical United Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
