28 year old Billy Douglas Ferrell of Smithville died Sunday at his residence. He was a Christian and worked in landscaping. The funeral will be Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Charlie Lawson will officiate and burial will be in the Mt. Arat Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Ferrell. Survivors include his parents, Douglas Ray and Angel Ferrell of Smithville. Two brothers, Lee Allen Ferrell of Warren County and Jessie Glenn Ferrell of Smithville. One daughter, Destiny Cheyenne Keys of Smithville. Two grandmothers, Louise Garrett Taylor of Smithville and Nellie Brown Mathis of Warren County. Grandfather, Robert Lee Mathis of Cannon County. Special cousin, Tiffany Miller of Smithville. Aunts and uncles, Glenn and Louise Ferrell of Smithville, Joyce and Tom Mosley of Spencer, Hilton and Marie Ferrell of Cannon County, David Taylor of Smithville, Ben Taylor of Warren County, Johnny Darrell Mathis of Warren County. Great aunts and uncles, Medford and Ruth Murphy of Cannon County. Several other cousins and friends survive. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
