On December 29, 1978 she married George Weber in Prosser, WA and for the last twenty-five years have made their home in Zillah, WA. Joanne and George owned and operated Georgio’s Pizza in Toppenish. Joanne owned Touch of Nostalgia (Seamstress). She also loved sewing, crocheting and beadwork.
Joanne is survived by her husband, George Weber of Zillah, WA. Children Debbie Stevens of Yakima, WA, Steve Gostovich of Zillah, WA, Mike Gostovich of Yakima, WA and Sherry Richard of Grandview. She is also survived by her mother, Irene Thomas of Grandview, fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, Doug Thomas (Barbara) and Kent Thomas all of Grandview, WA. She is preceded in death by her father, Phillip Thomas, son Richard Gostovich and two brothers Daryl Thomas and Gary Thomas.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, WA.
