Born in 1906 in MO, to father Hade and Jane Goddard. Haywood [Bowie], married Laura Jane Thompson 31 July 1924 in Okemah, Okfuskee, OK. Only child of this couple was one daughter Eva Ellen born in 1925. Bowie died 1957 and left Laura alone for 40 years to raise her daughter and later her grandson, the son of her daughter and son in law Jim Shumate. She did dote on that guy Jimmy Lee.... Laura is buried in the Mounds, Creek, OK cemetery close by her grandson Jimmy... no stone marks her grave.
