I believe the Melville Sr. memorial is of the father. Melville Jr. may be in the photo. The dates of siblings birth and birth of Melville don't agree with Melville Jr. info. Melville Jr. was 21 years old when he co-piloted the All American in 1943.

At the end of the war, LT Boyd was transported to the hospital at Ft. Dix NJ and put under the care of LT Loretta M. Carney, RN who became his wife. LT M Guy Boyd passed away 30 April 1966 as a result of injuries incurred as a POW.
