William Stowell Wallace, 71, former Ogden resident, died Monday in Oakland, California.
Mr. Wallace was born in Ogden July 20, 1874, a son of Thomas and Elvira Stowell Wallace. Educated at the University of Utah, he taught school in Ogden and Salt Lake City. For several years he had resided in Oakland engaging in the real estate business.
Survivors include his widow, two daughter, Mrs. Helen Wallace McMahon, San Jose, California; Mrs. Norma Mushet, Richmond, California; three sons, Edwin, Ralph, and Lawrence Wallace, all of Oakland; and a sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hickenlooper, Layton, Utah.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday in Oakland.
