Death Tuesday claimed a resident of Sergeant Bluff for 40 years when Jacob Alseth, 73 years old, succumbed in his home of heart disease. He was a brick mason.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Sergeant Bluff Community church with Rev. Wilson Gow officiating. Burial will be in Sergeant Bluff.
Survivors include his widow, Caroline, of Sergeant Bluff; two sons, Ben and Albert, of Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. D.P. Lennen. of Sioux City, and two brothers, Edward, of Sergeant Bluff, and Martin, of Mitchell, S. D.
