Edna (Hawkins) Sizemore, 87, formerly of Pacolet, SC, died Friday, November 3, 2006 at White Oak Estates.

Born September 2, 1919 in Cramerton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Bishop and Elizabeth (Chapman) Hawkins and the wife of the late Jessie Boyd Sizemore.

Mrs. Sizemore was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was retired from Brown's Grocery Store and was a member of Tate Memorial Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday School teacher and former president of the WMU.

Survivors include a son, Buddy Sizemore and daughter, Ruby Sizemore Padgett, both of Pacolet; two grandsons, Joey and Jeff Sizemore, both of Pacolet; two granddaughters, Melissa Johnson of Landrum, and Jessica Padgett of Pacolet; three great-grandsons, Dylan Styles, Clayton Sizemore, and Hunter Sizemore; and five great-granddaughters, Jessie Sizemore, Emily Johnson, Olivia Sizemore, Rebecca Johnson, and Brayden Padgett.

She was predeceased by a son, Boyd Sizemore, and a grandson, Deano Sizemore.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 6, 2006 at Pacolet Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier and Mr. Dylan Styles.

The family received friends at the graveside following the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Tate Memorial Baptist Church Organ Fund, PO Box 88, Pacolet, SC 29372.
