"RUNNELLS, IA. - Services for Roy R. Vos, 55, of rural Runnells, who died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be at noon Saturday at the Altoona Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Franklin Township Cemetery in Santiago.
"Mr. Vos was born in Monroe and lived in the Altoona area for most of his life. He was a truck driver and a mamber of Amvets.
"Survivors include his wife, Mardale; four daughters, Connie Charter of Pleasant Hill, Beverly Erickson of Des Moines, Pattie McLaughlin of Laurens and Bonnie Vos of Runnells; two sons, Roy Jr. of Ankeny and Dwayne of Runnells; his mother, Rena Vos of Mitchellville; two brothers, Dean of Mitchellville and Jim of West Des Moines; three sisters, Geraline Tuller of the state of Washington, Betty Butler of Mitchellville and Judy Simerson of Anaheim, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
