Mrs. Mary Ellen Saylor

Mrs. Mary E. Saylor died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Edward W. Klinepeter in Pleasant Valley, about 11 o'clock Monday forenoon from the effects of a stroke of paralysis sustained two weeks previously. She had not been in good health for some time past , due to the infirmities of old age, being aged 79 years, 10 months and 17 days.

Mrs. Saylor was the widow of David Ellis Saylor, formerly a well-known resident of Sandy Hill. She is survived by two sons and six daughters, namely: Charles K. Saylor of Mansfield; Ohio, Harvey Saylor, of Manville; Mrs. Ira Kahler of York; Mrs. F. G. Hench of Carlisle; Mrs. W. E. Vondreau of Williamsburg; Mrs. E. W. Klinepeter of Pleasant Valley; Mrs. George Sanderson of Wall and Mrs. Orland Rice of Pittsburgh.

She was a woman of lovely Christian character and was devoted to her children; who have the sincere sympathy of all in their bereavement.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Thursday) morning in the Sandy Hill Church, the cortege leaving the Klinepeter home at 10 o'clock. Burial at Sandy Hill.
