The following items appear in Mary Jane Galer’s “COLUMBUS, GA: Lists of People, 1828-1852, and Sexton’s Reports to 1866” (published in 2000):

In 1845, Adam H. BELYEU paid tax in Militia District #773 (Upper Town District) in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia (Galer, p. 57). A. H. BELYEU appears on an 1847 list of owners of Negroes in Muscogee County, as agent for Mrs. WALKER, who owned a slave aged 1 year (name illegible, per Galer, p. 103).

According to Sexton’s reports (and ergo, interred in the city cemetery for Whites, now known as Linwood Cemetery):

A child of Mrs. BELYEU, aged 1 week, was buried 09 SEP 1849 (cause of death not reported, per Galer, p. 183).

Mrs. BELYEU died, aged 35 years, of fever, and was buried 12 SEP 1849 (Galer, P. 183).

A child of Mr. BELYEU was buried 16 MAR 1856 (age and cause of death not reported, per Galer, p. 204).

A child of Mr. BELYEU, aged 2 years, died of the measles and was buried 29 JUN 1856 (Galer, p. 205).
