Helen Jeanette Halvorsen, age 81, of St. Paul, MN, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN.
Helen was born in 1934 in Aitkin, MN to Oscar and Pauline Halvorsen. She attended school in Swatara, MN. Helen was employed at Grand Manor Nursing home in Minneapolis, MN for almost 40 years. Helen resided at the Lyngblomsten Apartments for the last 11 years.
Preceding her in death are her parents; 1 brother, Phillip Halvorsen; 6 sisters, Prudence Graton, Mabel Knowlton, Evelyn Butterfield, Ella Mae Kisslinger, Luccille Oakland and Wanda Kortekaas.
Helen is survived by her sister, Rose Reich; brother, Leroy (Margie) Halvorsen; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial in Macville Cemetery in Macville Township, MN.
