INVENTORY OF THE BELONGINGS OF THE LATE GEORGE HAYDEL. Upon learning of the death of George Haydel, St. _Amand went to his home for the purpose of taking an inventory of his belongings. There he found the widow, Marie-Jacobine LeRoux, and her 11 children [ all girls], namely: Marie, wife of the late Pierre Loriot; Marguerite, wife of George Rixner; Francoise [deceased], wife of Louis Toups; Julie, wife of Francois Faucheaux; Magdelaine widow of Joseph Bourgeois fils; Genevieve, wife of Gaspard Toups; Lucie, wife of EpifanIe Schexnayder; Rosalie, wife of Andre Schexnayder; Eleonore, wife of Jean-Louis Waguespack; Aimee, wife of Guillaume Beauvais; Pelagie, a minor [18]. George Rixner was named tutor of the minor child and Paul Toups was named surrogate tutor. Inventory was taken by Michel Frilloux and Paul Toups. Both men accepted the responsibility. Signed by them and Jean-Baptiste Berges and " Joseph Beauvais. " Debs were owed the succession by: George Kindler, Jean -Louis Belsom, Louis Malliard, Jean-Louis Heldeler [ Hedley], Etienne Daigle, Pierre Baudouin, Epifanie Schexnayder, Jean Vaudry and Francois Faucheux. Debts were owed to: Francois Blondin [ New Orleans merchant], Joseph Loriot, Louis Blondin and Andre Chiloque, Pierre Sabatier. The following individuals went before St-Amand to seek the partition of the succession of the late George Haydel: Marie Jacobine LeRoux, widow of George Haydel; Jean Baptiste Berges, husband of Marie Haydel; George Rixner, husband of Marguerite Haydel; Gaspard Toups, husband of Genevieve Haydel and acting for George Toups, his pupil and nephew who was the child of the late Louis Toups, and the late Francoise Haydel; Francois Faucheux, husband of Julie Haydel; Madelaine Haydel, widow of Joseph Bourgeois; Epiphany Schexnayder, husband of Lucie Haydel; Jean-Louis Devic Waguespack, husband of Eleonore Haydel; Guillaume Beauvais, husband of Aimee Haydel. Partition made in the presence of Louis Milliard and Pierre Sabatier.
