Diann Thurman, 49, passed away Jan. 14, 2016, in Billings. She was born in Butte, MT, April 21, 1966, to Grant and Myrna Walker. She grew up in Colstrip then attended MSU-Bozeman where she earned her teaching degree. Diann taught in several schools, ending her 20-year career at St. Charles Mission School.

She enjoyed cross-stitching, scrapbooking and music. We will always remember her caring and kind personality, infectious laugh and beautiful singing voice.

She is survived by her children, Christopher (Ashlee), Hannah, and Tommy; mother Myrna Walker; sisters Deri (Daniel) Conder and Debra (Jerel) Blakely; and brothers Scott (Lyn) Walker, Steve (Julie) Walker and Ed (Kathleen) Walker. Diann was preceded in death by her father.

Viewing will be from 5 to 9 p.m., Jan. 21 at Smith Funeral Home Downtown. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Jan. 22 at LDS Sweet Grass Ward, 3595 Monad Road, Billings, with burial in Lovell, Wyo.
