Mrs. Regina Isabella Davison, 84, a resident of rural route Coatsville, Mo. in Appanoose County (sic) for nearly three years and a long-time Centerville resident, died at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Centerville late Saturday afternoon, July 12.
She had been in failing health several months, a hospital patient one day.
Born Aug. 7, 1895 in Appanoose County, she was the daughter of Samuel [Marion William]* and Mary [Cornelia Isabel] Swank Crow.
On Nov. 26, 1913 she married Roy Crow (sic) [Davison] at the Udell United Church of the Brethren. He preceded her in death Dec. 1979.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lloyd Davison; nine brothers, Leo [Fay], [Samuel] Floren, Carl [Okel], Gilbert [Clay], [Charles Herbert] Charley, [William] Glen, [James] Dellie, Ralph [Pleasant] and Fred [Lester] Crow; and two sisters, Alta [A.] Whisler and [Martha Alpha Elfa] Elsa Walker.
Survivors include two sons, Richard and Gerald of Centerville; one daughter, Bethel Ballanger of rural route Coatsville, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, July 15 at 10 a.m. at the Miller-Wehrle Funeral Home with the Rev. Clark McKern officiating. Burial will be in the Jerome Cemetery. Visitation was Monday evening.
A memorial has been established payable to the Easter Seals Foundation. Memorials may be given at the funeral home.
