Fred C. Roberts, 62, 1033 Franklin Street, died Friday at 5:15 pm in Fort Hamilton Hughes Hospital. Born in Reily, he was a son of Calvin and Eva Vogel Roberts. He received his education in the Springfield Township, Indiana, public schools. In 1940 he married Virginia Beckett in Hamilton. He was employed as a semi-truck driver for the T.F. Dunlap Trucking Company for 22 years, retiring in 1961. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Roberts, Hamilton; a son, James P. Roberts, Fairfield; three brothers, Lloyd Roberts and Carl Roberts, Hamilton, and Russell Roberts, Cincinnati; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Paul Roberts and Dawn Marie Roberts, Fairfield. Services Monday at 10 am in the Klaus Weigel Funeral Home, N. F Street at Elvin Avenue. Burial in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation Sunday from 5 to 8 pm.
