Tyler C. Matthews, age 13, of Ingleside, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Centegra Hospital – McHenry.
He was born April 10, 2003 in Barrington to Floyd C. "Sonny" and Cynthia (Shustitzky) Matthews. Tyler was a student at Big Hollow School in Ingleside. He loved cats, monster trucks, was a huge Disney fan and like playing his 3DS and tablet. He also loved to go camping, swimming and was very artistic. Tyler was a very funny, loving boy who always made people laugh, he was a great practical joker.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Floyd C. "Sonny" and Cindy Matthews; a brother, Tanner; maternal grandparents, Alex and Rita Shustitzky; paternal grandparents, Leandra and Robert Carney; and an Uncle, Scott Shustitzky.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Floyd Matthews, Jr.(231818141)
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home, 8103 Wilmot Road, Spring Grove, IL 60081
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on July 9th, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Grant Cemetery, Ingleside.
