Janette M. Moore, 97
of Clearfield died on Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on October 18, 1904 in Clearfield, PA, a daughter of the late William P. and Rose (Verbeck) Mann.
Mrs. Moore was formerly employed at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh and also at the Clearfield Hospital.
She was a graduate of St. Francis High School and also from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield and the Rosary and Altar Society of the church. She served as treasurer of many organizations and belonged to the Hobby Garden Club, the Coterie Club, the Clearfield Hospital Nurses Alumni, the Clearfield Hospital Auxiliary and the Clearfield American Legion Auxiliary.
In addition, Mrs. Moore has logged over 1000 volunteer hours by assisting in The Cottage at the Clearfield Hospital and helping with numerous blood drives and health related activities over the years.
An avid gardener, she enjoyed flowering arranging and won many ribbons at the Clearfield County Fair.
During her life, she traveled to all fifty states and also to Europe and the Holy Land.
She is survived by a son,

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Matthew Weet on January 11, 1945 and her second husband Ernest M. Moore on November 8, 1960, brothers Leslie W., Walter P., LeRoy B. and Hobert Mann and sisters Marjorie McGoey and Sister Rose Evelyn (Irene) Mann, SSJ.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Friday at
10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday from
2-4 & 6-8 PM. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 PM
