Mrs. Nettie (Mae) J. Grove, wife of Samuel Howard Grove of Silverford Heights, Mount Union R.D., died Friday, May 13, 1966, at 8:24 a.m. in the F. W. Black Community Hospital, Lewistown, where she had been a patient for 12 days.

She was born August 7, 1905, in Browns Mills, N.J., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Brown.

She was twice married: first to Cloyd H. Bard, Shirleysburg, who preceded her in death on February 15, 1946; later, she married Samuel Howard Grove, who survives.

Also surviving are a son to the first marriage, William Frank Bard of the United States Air Force at Cheyenne, Wyoming, two children to the second marriage: Samuel T. Grove, Mount Union R.D. and Mrs. James (Patricia) Cox, Silverford Heights; and by four grandchildren.

Mrs. Grove was of the Methodist faith.

The funeral services will be held Monday, May 16, at 4 o'clock p.m. at the Ott Funeral Home, Orbisonia with the Rev. Thomas Kauffman of the Otelia Mennonite Church, Mount Union R.D., officiating. Burial will be made in Haven Rest Memorial Cemetery, Shirleysburg R. D. Friends may call at the Ott Funeral Home in Orbisonia, from 7 o'clock this Saturday evening until time for the service on Monday.
