Funeral services for Thomas Ellis Allen, age 84, of Delhi will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, January 5, 2003 in the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Rev. Bobby Arnold will officiate. Interment will follow in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Mr. Allen died on January 4, 2003 at the Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Elmore Allen and Mozelle Miller Allen, a brother, Charles Calvin Henry Allen Sr, and two sisters, Eula Smith and Alice Leachman.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Elaine Allen of Delhi, two sons, Thurman Allen of Bastrop and Marvin Allen of West Monroe, a daughter, Wilma Leggitt of Camden, AR, three step-sons, Gregg Myers of Bernice, LA, Troy Myers of Glendale, CA and Glenn Myers of West Monroe; a brother, Hilton Allen of Call, TX and two sisters, Betty Jo Stamey of Start, LA and Lois Okrutsky of Monroe.
He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
