Mr. Tracey Monroe Burton Ward, age 46, of Brantley County, died Sunday, July 3, 2016 from an accidental death. He was a native of Lyons, lived in Toombs County most of his life, and has lived in Brantley County for the past ten years. He was a 1987 graduate of Lyons Senior High School, and attended Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta. He attended Reedy Creek Full Gospel Church in the Blue Ridge Community, and was preceded in death by his father, Robert Burton.

Tracey is survived by his husband, Glen Ward, Sr. of Brantley County; his mother, Annette Kirkland and husband Carlton of Lyons; his grandfather, Victor Guitard of Normantown; four sisters, Jackie Huggins Owens of Savannah, Malisa Burton of Lyons, Ann Leggett and husband Ronald of Lyons, and Gidgett Cox of Orlando, Florida; four brothers, Dewayne Burton and wife Sharon of Vidalia, Jonathan Burton of Lyons, Daniel Wilt and wife Michelle of Normantown, and Greg Wilt and wife Stephanie of Lyons; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor John Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Reedy Creek Full Gospel Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
