CHARLOTTE -- Mrs. Alice Zella Robertson, 82, a former Olivet and Nashville resident died at 8 a.m. Sunday at the Thornapple Valley Medical Facility near Hastings where she had been a patient for one and one-half years. She was born in Pewamo the daughter of William and Alice (Gearhart) Gee. Her first husband James Rice, a farmer, whom she married Sept. 5, 1900, in Ithaca, died Nov. 20, 1953. She married Hugh Robertson March 25, 1955, in Ionia. She was a member of the Nazarene Church at Nashville. Surviving are her husband, Hugh of Lowell; two sons, Oscar of Hastings and Howard of Scotts; seven daughters, Mrs. George (Harriet) Bugbee of Route 2, Olivet, Mrs. Howard (Mary) Watling of Charlotte, Mrs. Clyde (Viola) Sabin of Battle Creek, Mrs. Harold (Catherline) Kent of Port Huron, Mrs. Lawrence (Lucretia) Horn of Nashville, Mrs. Ellis (Ardis) Bracy and Mrs. Frank (Alice) Rohdy, both of Charlotte; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Somers of Lansing; three brothers, Den and Hector of Muir and David of Pontiac; 41 grandchildren and 662 great-grandchildren.
