Funeral services will be conducted at St. James' Episcopal church at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, with the Rev. Frank R. Wilson, rector, officiating. Burial will be In St. James' cemetery, under the direction of the Selfrldge Funeral home.
Mrs. Wigg was born here on Christmas day, 1879, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Mannix Plain. She was educated in the local schools, and had always made her home here. On November 8, 1913. she was married to Mr. Wigg who died last Aug. 5.
Mr. Wigg, a blacksmith, had followed two generations of his family in the trade, and had shod the Roosevelt family horses for a number of years. He was widely known as an amateur baseball played. Soon after President Roosevelt took office, he appointed Mr. Wigg postmaster, here. A telegram of condolence was received by the family from President Roosevelt this morning. Mrs. Wigg was a lifelong member of St. James' church. Surviving are a daughter, Evelyn Wigg, a clerk in the local post office; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Schoneman, Albany; three brothers, Joseph Plain and Daniel Barrett, here and A. Raymond, Poughkeepsie funeral director; and several nieces and nephews.
