Bobby Lynn Arnold was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 12, 1980. He was the second child and first son of Susan Oliver Kent and Rickey Lynn Arnold.

On the afternoon of Wednesday June 29, 2016, Bobby passed away after rescuing his niece on White Rock Creek in Trinity County.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Rickey Lynn Arnold: Maternal Grandparents, Donnie and Bryant Oliver: Paternal Grandparents, Jessie Mae and Pete Arnold and Uncle David Oliver.

He is survived by wife, Jamie Savoie; Son Jacob Arnold; Daughter Amanda Mangum; all of Onalaska Texas; and Daughter Davallen Arnold of Dallas, Texas; Also Mother and Step Father Susan and Gerald Kent of Onalaska, Texas; sister and brother-in-law Tammy and Matt Schnieder of Needville, Texas; two Aunts, an Uncle, two nieces, and a nephew.

Bobby’s childhood years were spent growing up on dirt roads, lakes, and cotton fields in Bradley, Arkansas and Plain Dealing, Louisiana. He finished his school years in Channelview, Texas.

Bobby loved a crowd , the more, the merrier, He was quite a prankster. Loving life, family and friends with a heart as big as Texas.

After working in several professions in his short 36 years he found the dream job at Onalaska Metal Art: Welding, fabricating and plasma cutting, where his ideas and creativity came to life in everlasting art.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Trinity County Sheriffs Department, Trinity County Fire and Rescue, and the Texas Game Wardens for their due diligence in the recovery.

Visitation will be at Pace Funeral Home on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
Celebration of Life for Bobby will be Saturday July 2, 2016 at 10:00 Am at Pace Funeral Home Chapel, Livingston , Texas with Bro. Harold Isaacs officiating.
