Alberta F. "Bert" Dwigans, 98, of Indianapolis, passed away June 28, 2016. She was born August 11, 1917 to the late Daniel Sigfried Harrison and Mae Kathryn (née Thorpe) Harrison.
Bert married James J. Dwigans, and was a member of The Bible Study Chapel. She was a volunteer with "The Adult Group of Rowdies", a group of people afflicted with Cerebral Palsy. Bert also loved making ceramics and crocheting.
Bert is survived by her children, Donita Carter, Donna Edmondson and James Dwigans; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Bert’s husband, James J. Dwigans; daughter, Sandra Boner; son, Richard Dwigans; and several siblings preceded her in death.
