Beulah Mae Hicks, 71, Ozark, died in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, after a long illness. A native of Ozark County, Mrs. Hicks had lived in the Springfield-Ozark area for the past 28 years and was a member of Bethel General Baptist Church, McClurg.
Survivors include two sons Paul, Jr., Bradleyville, and Danny, Dora; four daughters, Loretta Stevens and Donna Stevens, both of Garrison, Rose Vaughn, Wichita, Kan. and Treva Swearengin, Springfield; a step-daughter, Irene Clutter, Springfield; four brothers, Coy, Leslie and Noland Turner, all of Thornfield and Linn Turner, El Dorado, Kan.; four sisters, Alma Toplift, the state of Oregon, Eulah Mitchell, McClurg, Viola Clark, Anchorage, Alaska and Maggie Bender, Grandview, Wash.; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Services were announced by Ayre-Goodwin Funeral Home, Springfield.
