A life-long resident of Oshkosh he was born here July 1. 1904. For several years he was employed by Paine Lumber Company and later worked as garage mechanic.
Mr. Bingen was member of St Mary's Catholic Church and St. James-Stephen Court, No. 510, Catholic Order of Foresters.
Surviving are a brother, Gerald, of Racine, Wis, and a sister, Mrs. Clara Beernsten of this city. His parents, a sister and a brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:30 a.m. at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St Mary's Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. William A. Reul officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday evening and until the hour of service. Members of COOF will meet at the funeral home, to recite the rosary at 7:30 pm. Sunday.
