A.H. Wright, of Abbyville a pioneer settler of Reno county, who homesteaded a farm two miles north of Abbyville in 1879, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carrie Learned, of Plevna, at 1:30 this morning. He was 75 years and 10 days of age and had lived at his home near Abbyville since 1879.
For the past nine years he had been invalid as the result of a stroke of paralysis. He is survived by his wife and seven children, and one brother, George Wright of Indiana. The children are Mrs. Carrie Learned, of Plevna; John Wright, of Minneola; Jess Wright, of Arlington; Mrs. Flora Crone, of Bloom, Miss Cora Wright, of Abbyville; and Walter Wright, of Abbyville.
The funeral services were held at 2:30 last Friday afternoon at the Abbyville Methodist church, with Rev. Davidson, pastor of that church in charge. Interment was in the Abbyville cemetery.
