ANGIER – Hazeleen Adams Pleasant, 96, passed away Friday August 14, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Everett and Nellie Adams. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Monday August 17, 2015 at Angier United Methodist Church. Burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
She was a devoted wife, beloved mother and sister, faithful church member of Angier United Methodist Church and admired by all who knew her especially extended family. Truly she was the Proverbs 31 woman.
Survivors include her daughters, Judith P. Schunk, Lucinda P. Hunter and husband Donald; daughter-in-law Virginia Guy Pleasant; sisters, Jacqueline "Jackie" Adams Smith and husband Ralston ; Nancy A. Hart; brothers, Rexwell Adams and Elbert Adams; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Hazeleen was preceded in death by her husband C. Leo Pleasant, son, Jerry T. Pleasant ; sisters, Brookie I. Smith, Helen A. Stewart, E. Gail Gregory; brothers; E. Odell Adams and Conrad L. Adams and grandson, Mitchell D. Pleasant.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 – 7 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to Angier United Methodist Church.
