Tisla Rathsack, age 78, of 905 Gray St., Green Bay, went home to the Lord on February 3, 1993. She was born April 30, 1914, in Stiles, Wis. Daughter of the late John and Victoria (Servais) Van Ess. On February 23, 1936, she married Archie Rathsack. He preceded her in death in January of 1968. From 1945 to 1961 she lived in Glen Flora, Wis. before moving to Green Bay. She attended Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include three children and their spouses, Joanne and John Siehr, Mishicot, Alan and Sandy Rathsack, Glen Flora, Wis., Donna Rathsack, Green Bay; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Art Van Ess, Mich., Henry and Delores Van Ess, Two Rivers; and two sisters, Philomine Hermans, Luxemburg, and Laura Lulloff, Two Rivers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Archie, one sister, Irene Wilson, and four brothers, Jack, Granville, Hubert, and Edward Van Ess.
Friends may call at the Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, 54303, from 4-8 p.m. Friday and also from 10-11 a.m. Saturday. The Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ken Lewis officiating, burial will be in the Forest view Cemetery, Two Rivers.
